LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR

Dear MBA candidates,

thank you for paying your attention to this form of education and for your interest in our MBA Programme.

We would like to invite you to choose the postgraduate management

MBA programme at Gdansk Foundation for Management Development, which will enable you to achieve a leading position in the world of business, both in Poland and abroad.

Modern managers are being exposed to conditions of still increasing competition and to strong pressure for innovation. Therefore, they have

to have first-class professional training to be able to cope with these particular demands. The ongoing globalisation of markets, the integration

of Poland with the EU and the related acceleration of structural changes within Poland, the growing complexity of technological and organisational processes and decision making procedures, frequent strategic changes necessary in such circumstances as well as diverse conditions in which companies operate, create a demand for managers who not only correctly understand and interpret the processes and phenomena in both their close and distant environment, but are also able to be proactive and to have an impact on the business environment.

The MBA Programme offered by the Gdansk Foundation for Management Development and University of Gdansk validated by the RSM Erasmus University, has been designed to meet all requirements and needs of the managers of tomorrow as effectively as possible. Thanks to our programme, the participants gain knowledge and skills in all fields and problem areas which are important for their future work. They learn to think analytically and creatively, getting ready to take rational decisions in the environment marked with risk and uncertainty.

We hope that enrolling for the MBA Programme and making the serious effort necessary to successfully complete the studies will be your best investment in the future and a meaningful intellectual experience which you will use effectively in your professional career.

Dr Adam Ubertowski
MBA Programme Director
